Classical Ballet

Does your child dream of being a ballerina? Our Classical Ballet classes use the Australian Teachers of Dancing, a comprehensive and beautiful ballet syllabus , designed to build strength and artistry. Soft arm movements combined with strength and fluidity helps form the traditional classical ballet style of dance. These classes are offered for fun and examinations are optional but encouraged.

Jazz

Jazz is our most popular dancing style as it is fun and energetic! Jazz combines popular or upbeat music with strong, dynamic movements. This class is lots of fun and enhances jazz technique, coordination, flexibility, and fitness levels. Jazz helps the child express their individual style. Routines and music are age appropriate. We encourage a friendly, supportive environment where every class member is encouraged to achieve their individual best.

Tap

Be warned, tap dancing is contagious!  Tap is a fun, musical and rhythmic study of sounds and movement together. Tap encourages musicality and coordination working together. We utilise the Australian Teachers of Dancing syllabus which prepares dancers for a lifetime of tap. What sets it apart from other syllabi is that it is founded on solid technique, whilst being fluid, relaxed and enjoyable.

Contemporary

Contemporary dance is one of the most popular dance styles of the decade, thanks to its raw and natural movement. This style of dance is a wonderfully expressive dance language that is not bound by rigid technique. Contemporary often utilizes ground work and dancers often perform in bare feet.  We start Contemporary at our Starlets level moving right through to our Advanced dancers.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is always changing in one way or another but there are "no rules" to follow, the harder the move the better it looks!   â€‹Hip Hop dance classes will have your kids burning off excess energy, building strength, stamina and coordination.
