Our Team

Miss Carla began dancing when she was 3 years old, 34 years ago and started with Oakey Dance Studio under Miss Anne Green. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary and Middle Schooling) from USQ, a Certificate in Dance Teaching (QUT) and a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management (ATOD). She is also a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor, Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation Coach, Aerial Arts instructor and is qualified in Real Estate. Miss Carla started teaching dance when she was 14 years old, and at 17 was accepted into the Australian Dance Performance Institute for Musical Theatre Specialisation. She is a member of the Australian Teachers of Dancing. Miss Carla loves everything about teaching and creating productions for the community. She is the proud Mum James!

Miss Alyssa has been part of our iDance family for 12 years and is currently in Year 12 at Oakey State High School. She completed a School Based Traineeship with iDance in a Certificate III in Business. You can find Miss Alyssa teaching our Tinies and Gold girls on Mondays and reception on Tuesdays & Thursdays and often steps in to take classes when needed. Miss Alyssa has an interest in Social Media design and has been working on our social media management since 2022. You can also find Miss Alyssa taking classes in Senior Contemporary, Jazz and Senior Hip Hop.

Miss Brittany has been with iDance Studios since it began 20 years ago!  She holds a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management through the Australian Teachers of Dancing and is a qualified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Miss Brittany is currently completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and hopes to work in research in the future.  Miss Brittany teaches a variety of styles including Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Aerial, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and takes Private Lessons. Miss Brittany has completed her Elementary Jazz, Elementary Ballet, Elementary Tap & Level 2 Musical Theatre examinations with the Australian Teachers of Dancing. She has also travelled as part of our performance teams to the USA in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2024!
